About TaxRxCenter
TaxRxCenter is a trade name (or DBA) of EveryDayCPA, Inc.
Kelly Coughlin, CPA, CEO, of EveryDayCPA, Inc., created the TaxRx trade name to provide a for-profit service partner option to non-profit members of TaxRxCenter a 501(c)(3) non-profit entity.
In 2021, EveryDayCPA launched TaxResolution Help Center, dba, TaxRxCenter.org, a 501(c)3 non-profit.). TaxRxCenter's mission is to educate, inform and empower taxpayers to reduce, remove and resolve past present and future tax debt to reduce anxiety and stress, increase savings, and live a happier, healthier life.
(formerly Tax Resolution Help Center)
1. Why create a for-profit service partner for a non-profit company?
Kelly created the non-profit TaxRxCenter non-profit (TaxRx-NP) solution to help taxpayers suffering from stress that often accompanies overdue tax balances. Fewer than 20% of taxpayers elect to deal with their tax liabilities themselves, with only 10% electing to hire a professional; leaving 70% that do nothing. This results in financial and emotional stress on both the businesses and families that frequently results in dysfunction and abuse; worry and fear.
TaxRx-NP's activities include a commitment to encourage taxpayers to: 1) deal with their tax liabilities; 2) empower and inform them to resolve it themselves; and 3) make an informed decision to select a professional to assist them at a reasonable and fair price. Kelly, as CEO of EverydayCPA, Inc., created TaxRx to meet that non-profit service commitment.
2. Why is there a need for TRxC?
Approximately 25 million people owe the IRS over $83 billion in back taxes. Between January 1, 2017 and June 30, 2019 alone, nearly one million federal and state tax liens were filed against taxpayers in all 50 states, representing claims on nearly $129 billion in taxpayer assets. TaxRx-NP was created to teach people how they can reduce, remove and resolve their tax balances themselves using the TriTax Do-It-Yourself (DIY) method.
TaxRx knows that while knowledge is power, not everyone is a DIY'er. To help those TaxRx-NP members wanting expert assistance, TaxRx created TriTax Do-It-Together (DIT) and TriTax Do-It-All (DIA) direct service options. TaxRx contracts with tax resolution professionals (Tax Experts) to provide these direct service options.
3. Who are TRxC Tax Experts?
TaxRx holds superior customer-focused service as a core value. Therefore, before a tax resolution expert is permitted to provide TriTax DIT or DIA services to a TaxRx-NP member as a TaxRx Tax Expert, they must first demonstrate their commitment to superior customer-focused service. All TaxRx Tax Experts provide pro bono educational services to TaxRx-NP members by teaching the TriTax Do-It-Yourself (DIY) method.
TaxRx Tax Experts:
- Are based in the United States.
- Provide biographical information to help you find the right expert for you.
- Undergo a rigorous vetting process to ensure they meet TaxRx's 3E Standard of being Expert, Ethical, and Enjoyable.
